What to Include
The more of this you send, the fewer round trips it takes:
- Browser and version, plus your operating system — for example Chrome on Windows 11 or Safari on iPhone. Encoding behaves differently across engines and versions.
- The image format you tried — JPEG, PNG, WebP — and roughly how large the original file was.
- The target size you chose, and whether you used a preset or a custom value.
- What happened instead of what you expected — an error message, a progress bar that never finished, or a result that came out larger than you asked for.
- Whether it affects every file or only one. You never have to send us the image itself; describe it and we will work from that.
What to Expect
We reply within two business days, Monday to Friday. There is no ticket number to keep track of and no automated first response — if your question is one the FAQ already answers, the reply will point you there. Bug reports and genuinely new problems are answered first.
We never ask for personal details in order to answer a question, and nothing you send is added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.
